Missions

Grace Church is part of the International Church of the Nazarene that is now in more than 155 world areas.  Missions – both local and global – is one of our greatest priorities.   We highlight some aspect of missions every Sunday with a “Missions Minute.” We commit a large portion of our income to support not only the mission work of the Church of the Nazarene, but also provide monthly support to two missionary couples from Grace who are now serving in other countries (Haiti and Uruguay).   Every age-level at Grace is involved in missions. Each summer our Vacation Bible School offering is designated for a missions project.  June 10th – 17th, 2013 we will be sending a group from Grace to Nicaragua for a 12 day mission trip.  We are scheduled to build a parsonage for the Pastor and his family and will have the opportunity to hold a VBS for the children.

Next Service Project:

June 16 – June 21, 2013

Indianapolis, IN

Coming in 2013: For our 20 year Anniversary Celebration Project, One Heart-Many Hands will return to the city where it all began. This is our fourth major project in Indianapolis since 1993 and we are excited to be working again with community leadership and the International Church of the Nazarene as we help to improve the living conditions of hundreds, perhaps thousands of families in need.

We support missions through prayer, financial support, and by going to mission areas to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our missions president is Charlotte Moore charlottemoore@wedeliverbest.com.  To learn more about the mission work being done by the Church of the Nazarene, visit www.nazarene.org.

2013 MISSION TRIP TO NICARAGUA:

In June 2013 a group from Grace will be going to Nicaragua working with Extreme Nazarene Missions.  Projects while we are there may include construction, ministry at an orphanage, ministry to widows, prison ministry, university evangelism, and/or showing the Jesus Film.
