Scripture for the day:  Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Grace Received: It was a thrill this past Sunday to celebrate 2 years of sobriety for Ashley Hastings. She moved to Washington State 4 months ago but continues to live in the liberating power of her relationship with Jesus that was established while she attended and was baptized at Grace. She really got engaged through Celebrate Recovery and is a great picture of the redeeming, freeing, and sustaining grace of God that comes as sheer gift. Grace received!!

Grace Shared: This month we welcome a great group of new members at Grace. Some are coming to us from other Nazarene Churches (transfers) and others are 1st-time members of the Church of the Nazarene. We are glad God has brought these folks our way!
13 Received by profession of faith: Bryan & Crystal Bailey, Nick & Monica Beckius, Mike & Linda Drexel,  Ashley Hickman,  Richard & Myong Noggle, Cailin & Carter Robinson, Thad  & Amanda Smith
10 Received by transfer: Robin, Ginger, Dylan & Hunter Barnett;  Ralph & Bobbie Blackmon, Mark & Melinda Ferebee;  Jeff & Melinda Geary
Grace Extended: I’m looking right now at a certificate of appreciation sent to Grace from Dr. David Busic, Chairman of the Board of General Superintendents and Dr. Mail Lail, Director of Stewardship Ministries for the Church of the Nazarene. It recognizes Grace Church for being a “World Evangelism Church.” We contributed nearly 6% of every dollar raised last year to the cause of World Evangelism. (This is in addition to what we gave for the missional work of the MidSouth District and TNU). It’s great to be part of something bigger! The Church of the Nazarene is going strong in 159 world areas. That’s possible, in part, because of the prayer and support that come from people like you. I’m proud to represent you!
