Scripture: “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with job because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this – that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6
Grace Received: Kindness. Mercy. Favor. Forgiveness. Empowerment. Strength. Confidence. Healing. Intimacy. Insight. Conviction. Correction. Redemption. Liberation. A sense of mission. In His great, amazing, wonderful, incredible, generous, lavish, and beautiful  grace, these are some of the things God delights in providing  His children. His grace is new for each day. It is sufficient for every day whether it is filled with trials or triumphs. Have you positioned yourself to receive God’s grace today? Have you spent time listening, talking to, being ministered to by His Spirit? I want to encourage you to tend your soul, take time and space to invest in your relationship with God so that His grace can flood over your spirit and fill you anew today. He’ll do it!

Grace Shared: I’m always amazed at how our common connection with Jesus brings total strangers into genuine relationship with each other. While this happens to some extent quite naturally, it also requires some intentionality. Having the kind of relational vitality that we all need requires an investment of our time and energies. That means we don’t just wait for others to reach out to us (within the church), but we take ownership and responsibility for the spiritual growth and relational health of those around us.  We’ve found that this happens best in what we call Grace-Shared groups. If you’re in a group, invite someone who isn’t to join you. If you have the gift of hospitality and would like to host or start a new group, please contact Joe Voigt –  We’re in this together!!

Grace Extended locally:  VBS is in full swing! Dozens of you are serving with a basin/towel mentality and I’m sure that you are tired – but it’s a good kind of tired, right? J.   Our goal is not just to give kids something fun to do, or to give parents a break for  a week of evenings. Our goal is to make disciples of the kids God entrusts to us and that’s what’s happening! Keep serving, keep praying, and it’s not too late you invite a neighbor kid who hasn’t come yet – your invitation could change their life forever so do it!!

Grace Extended globally: Your giving and praying is resulting in changed lives on another continent! Thank you all for your prayers for our team in Ecuador! We spent the last week working alongside the 4-month old church in Ibarra, that is working to win their city for Jesus with a ferocious zeal. We saw several people accept Christ while we were there! For the next week we will be doing outreach events and evangelism in the city of Ambato.
