Scripture for the day: “O Israel (and Clarksville), put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.” Psalm 130:7

Grace Received: Sunday was a great day! One of the people who heard Jesus call his name and committed to follow Him was John P. John was first introduced to Grace by Aaron whom he met at at PTSD group. When he heard Aaron share about the healing God had done in his life, and about his experiences at Grace, John got interested. He started attending the week before Easter and reached a major turning point yesterday morning. Saving grace!!
Another grace-filled moment yesterday happened when Sara (who started attending Grace after the February Warrior Weekend), who was raised Muslim, responded to the Word by “going to tell” like Mary did in John 20. She made a phone call between the 9:30 service and Sunday School to her dad, telling him that she had become a follower of Jesus. This was a huge step for her and one that was not easy, but she wanted to make it known that she is unashamedly following Jesus. God’s grace is real to her, and she is learning to respond to God’s voice with immediate obedience. Please continue to pray for her.
Grace Shared: This coming Sunday we will honor our mothers and our graduates. There will be a display in the foyer with a basket for each graduate. Bring your cards and words of encouragement as we celebrate their accomplishments.

Katlin Deffendall (CHS), Brooke Estep (RHS), Katlyn Gregory (WCHS), Nick Johnson (RHS), Jade Maghoney (APSU), Hannah Oakley (RHS), Andrew Slight (NWHS), Alex Sudbury & Jason Sudbury (Homeschooled), Sierra Blystone (WCHS) & Amanda Lumpkin (APSU).

Also, don’t forget that all who are members of the church and have reached their 15th birthday are invited to vote this coming Sunday in our annual church elections. A voting area will be set up in the foyer, as it was yesterday.  I’m excited about the very strong list of leaders from which to choose and know that Grace well be well-led as we start a new fiscal year in June. Great days ahead!

It was a joy to welcome Byran (Lou) and Shelley Louzensky into membership yesterday! If you are interested in learning more about the Church of the Nazarne, we will be having another membership class this Saturday from 9-12. Childcare is provided.

Grace Extended: Thank you all for your encouragement and generous support for Emman and Jade Chapman. Emman shared with us yesterday about their move to Australia later this month in answer to God’s call for them to be missionaries. Emman has served the last 8 years at Radical Mission, the compassionate ministry center at Clarksville 1st Church of the Nazarene. If you did not get to contribute but would like to, you can do so this Sunday and mark it for the Chapman’s.
This coming Sunday we will also have Bub and Rickie Honea with us. They are missionaries to Nicaragua and we worked alongside them the last 3 years on our mission trips there. They will have a few minutes to give us an update on the work there and we will be receiving an offering for them.  I know that two weeks in a row is a lot but we are a global church and Grace has always been a strong supporter of missions. Glad to be part of denomination that is at work around the world, aggressively taking the holiness message and the good news of the Gospel in fulfillment of Jesus commission to make disciples of all nations.
