Join Hope Pregnancy Center for the annual Walk for Life!
Saturday, May 10th
Liberty Park – South Pavilion
(Look for our signs once you enter the park complex.)
Registration opens 8:00 am – Walk begins 9:00 am
As a walker, you will seek pledges from those interested in supporting you as you walk for LIFE.
As a sponsor, you will support walkers as they raise money to further the work of the center.
By supporting this important event, you help HPC reach more than 800 women and couples each year with the messages of LIFE, CHRIST and PURITY.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT ASK ABOUT WALK FOR LIFE
Q. “Why is the Walk for Life in a NEW LOCATION?”
A. With so many construction projects on campus at APSU, we thought it would be good to move the Walk. Moving it to Liberty Park will enable us to walk in a beautiful setting, on a paved trail along the river. It should make for a great morning! Join us at the South Pavilion, near the dog park at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 10th.
Q. “Do I need to collect the money?”
A. No you do NOT have to collect the money. Turn your pledge forms in at the Walk and the money will be collected through the mail. If sponsors want to give you money at the time they pledge, that’s great. Just mark “Paid Cash” or “Paid Check” by their entry and turn in the checks and/or cash with the pledge form.
Q. “How far do I have to walk?”
A. It’s under 2 miles, so all ages can participate. And if you’d like to walk more, or need to walk less, it’ll be easy to adjust the route according to your needs. You will be asking your family and friends to sponsor you with a single, generous, tax-deductible gift for your participation in the 2 mile event, instead of being sponsored on a per mile basis.
Q. “What if I can’t be there that day?”
A. No problem! Walk on your own and mail in your sponsor form or bring it by our office. This event is about raising money to support the work of Hope Pregnancy Center, not about fitness or distance. The Walk is just a good way to do it!
Q. “What if it rains?”
A. Bring an umbrella – we’ll be there! Or, walk on your own & submit pledges as soon as possible.
Q. “How do I ask someone to sponsor me and who will do it?”
A. Simply ask everyone you know… “Will you sponsor me?” You’ll be surprised at the number of people who will support you, even if they don’t know much about HPC. And when you register, you’ll receive a link to include in an email or to post on Facebook where you sponsors can give electronically to support your efforts. It’s so easy!
