Scripture for the day: “Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his laws and his commands always.” Deuteronomy 11:1
Grace Received: Just a few months ago Russ and Sara were unchurched, disconnected, and while they were great people, they were not following Jesus with the zeal they now have. Sunday at the 9:30 service they dedicated all 4 of their children. It was beautiful! The Easterday kids will have a testimony when they get older about how God was gracious in giving them a mom and dad who loved God and modeled for them what it means to follow Jesus. The work God is doing in this mom and dad will make a forever-difference in the kind of home their kids experience. Thank you Jesus!
The Good Friday Service (April 18) will be held at Faith Outreach (not 1st Baptist downtown as previously announced).
Grace Shared: It was great to welcome Aaron & Tiffany Potter and Barbara Eakes as your newest members at Grace last Sunday! If you are not yet a member but are interested in knowing more, our next class will be Saturday, May 10 from 9-12. Childcare is provided.
In a few months the Lumpkin family will be moving to Indiana. We have enjoyed having Debbie play the piano, and Hannah on the keyboard, and John has been an incredible Sunday School teacher and board member for many years. They will be missed! If you play keyboard, sing, would like to join the choir, or be involved in any area of our worship ministry, contact Pastor Bailey: pastorbailey@
Parents: Children’s Camp forms Due April 23 to get early-bird rate. Direct any questions to Pastor Rachelle.
We are anticipating a lot of new faces for Easter and would like to have as many people as possible help with the follow-up of our guests. Please mark your calendar and plan to come help out with that on Tuesday, April 22 at 6:00 pm. If you can visit a home, write a card or make a phone call, there will be a place for you to serve! Keep giving Easter invitations and bring somebody with you!
Looking ahead, Saturday May 3 is the Great American Cleanup. Everyone is invited to gather at the Montgomery County Courthouse at 8:00 A.M. Let’s show up and serve our city!
