Scripture for the day: “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” Proverbs 30:5
Grace Received:  The New Testament has 3 primary images that speak to what happens when we receive the saving grace of God. At the same time we are justified (legal image), regenerated (biological image) and adopted into the family of God (familial image).  When we accept the gracious invitation to have our sins forgiven and become followers of Jesus, we are adopted, welcomed as true sons and daughters of God, and thus become siblings with one another.
This last week Brad and Christy Houston had the blessing of adopting Cole Bradley Houston into their family. Cole is a long-awaited answer to prayer and we celebrate with them!
There will be another Membership Class on Saturday, March 15 from 9-12. Childcare will be provided. Please let me know if you are interested in attending this class.
Grace Shared: There is lots going on this coming Saturday. The Men’s Breakfast with new leader Derek Cooke will be at the church at 7:30 am. Men, come be a part of that as we look at what the future of our men’s ministry holds.
Also on Saturday the TN District is having “Improve Your Serve” at Nashville 1st Church starting at 9:00 am. This is a training day for Nazarenes all over our district with  keynote speaker and dozens of workshops. Grace Extended: As you know, Grace House is our compassionate ministry that provides food and clothing free of charge to needy people twice a month. What you may not know is that this ministry is also having a global effect. Every few weeks a man named Walter Slonopas, a native of Russia, picks up a load of kids’ clothes that are then sent directly to orphanages in the Ukraine. Thanks to all who donate food and/or clothes to Grace House! If you’d like to know more about or volunteer in this ministry, contact Melody Dickerson:
