Scripture for the day: “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection and much grace was upon them all.” Acts 4:32-33
Grace Received: I heard a great story about a first time guest who was here last Sunday. He came from another Christian tradition and when he saw that the table was set for communion, told a friend before the service that he would probably not participate. The friend noticed that he did celebrate communion with us and asked him about it afterwards. His response: “I experienced God’s presence here today in a way that I haven’t for a very long time.” He was drawn to Jesus and enjoyed sweet table fellowship with Christ and with us. Grace offered. Grace received!
This coming Friday night your church board and pastoral staff will be having an extended time of prayer and fasting to pray for you, and to seek God’s direction for Grace. Please join us in this and remember to pray as well for our revival with Jeremiah Bolich which is Sept. 22-25.

Grace Extended: Last Sunday we received a love offering for Tori Steveson. She’s an Army wife stationed at Ft. Riley, KS and her husband is currently deployed. She’s been diagnosed with a brain condition that will require an extended trip to a neurologist in NC. When made aware of the need to help with travel expenses, you gave nearly $3,000! Thanks so much for your tangible display of love which will be a huge encouragement to this family!! You guys are incredible!
