BuildingScripture for the Day: “I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.” Psalm 89:1-2

Grace Received: It was a sweet time at Grace yesterday and I’m thrilled about those who ‘came home’ to the heart of the Father!  There is nothing more powerful than the love of our God and Father. I want to remind you that today you are a recipient of His kindness, mercy, unconditional love and amazing grace. That creates in me a tremendous sense of gratitude and a level of security that can be found in no other Source than the Faithful One who is giving new measures of His grace today.  If you haven’t already done so, take a moment to reflect on God’s faithfulness in the past, and His promise of grace for today. I pray you have a blessed day full of gratitude and appreciation for the One who loves you, redeemed you, and has promised to walk with you today!
Grace Shared: In the last few weeks we have started two new Grace Shared home groups and welcome leaders Chad & Angela Tafflinger, and Steven & Sarah Johnson to our team of leaders. The group that meets at our house had a fantastic time last night of fellowship and conversation around the Word that was challenging and inspiring. I LOVE seeing how God is at work and am greatly encouraged by the sincerity of people at Grace in their pursuit of and response to God. At Grace we want our relationships with God and each other to run deep and the only way for that to happen is for us to spend time together. If you’re not taking advantage of our Sunday morning Grace Shared Groups (Sunday School) or actively involved in a home-based Grace Shared Group I want to encourage you to consider getting involved. These intentional, disciple-making relationships are a key to our spiritual growth.
Grace Extended: Last week you once again made a beautiful display of generosity as nearly $5,000 was raised for the Nicaragua Mission Trip. Because you give (we almost have all the project funds raised), a young pastor, his wife, and two kids will be provided with a permanent home in Masaya, Nicaragua. This is the 2nd poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and it’s hard to tell when, if ever, a home could have been a possibility for this family. While there to build the house June 10-17 we will also be conducting Bible Schools for the kids and doing whatever else is needed to encourage our brothers and sisters there. Some of you will go. Many of you will or have already given. All of us can pray.  I’m proud to be part of a church family that is serious about the mission – both locally and globally. You guys are amazing!
