Scripture for the day: “Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.  And you are also among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.” (Romans 1:5-6)
Grace Received:  Last week we got to visit with Michelle’s 84 year old Grandma when we were in Ohio for Thanksgiving. She was excited because a few days before she had the privilege of leading her  neighbor (in his 90’s) to Christ.  A couple days later I rejoiced in reading a Facebook post by Ashely (Beaubien) Vaders that said of her 5 year old son, “Brody just asked me to help him pray and put Jesus in his heart to become a Christian. ♥ :’) ♥” Regardless of how old or young we are, God is continuing to give us grace, calling us to belong to Jesus Christ. We rejoice for those who have recently received His saving grace!

Grace Shared:   A BIG congratulations to Jason Sudbury. He will be representing Grace Nazarene and the TN District at a quiz in St. Louis this weekend. In order to get there, Jason had to be one of the top 10 quizzers on the TN District. Way to go Jason!

Congratulations also to Samantha Gotcher who is in our youth group. She recently signed to play golf next year at MTSU on a full-ride scholarship.
Last night Steven and Sara along with their two kids were stranded when the starter on their car called it quits. Even though he had never met these fellow attenders at Grace, Jake Chinnis immediately responded when called and came with his two boys Jacob and Dominick, to lend a hand.  It was a joy to see him using his talents on a Tuesday night just like he uses his talents on the drum kit on Sunday mornings. It was yet another example of the Grace family taking care of each other. I think it brings a smile to God’s face when that kind of thing happens.
Grace Extended: This Friday and Saturday from 6-9 we will be reminding the people in our city of what Christmas is all about as we take our choir and a couple scenes from the Drive Thru Nativity to Christmas on the Cumberland. If you would like to participate or have questions, you can direct those to Scott Thomas at scott@reclaimingdreams.com.
This coming Sunday we will welcome the NEHS Choir at our 11:00 service. They will sing a few songs (they will also join the Grace choir Saturday night at Christmas on the Cumberland). This is the 3rd year we’ve had them at Grace and each time a number of their parents come as well.  Let’s be especially mindful of the opportunities we will have to extend some gracious hospitality to them, and the other first time guests who will find their way here this weekend.
