Wild at Heart Chapter 2

The Wild One Whose Image We Bear
Again, “I’m going to ask you to do three things before you start working through this chapter:
1. If it has been more than a week since you’ve read chapter two, you’ll want to reread it to get back into it. Get outside–for that, and for the work you’re doing here.

2. It would be a very good idea to watch braveheart–even if you’ve seen it dozens of times. For those of you reluctant to view it, I might note that I don’t especially enjoy the violent scenes myself, but they are predictable and you can let them pass by or fastforward. The film raises some crucial questions for men, and, perhaps more important than that, offers a powerful picture of Jesus Christ, who gave himself for the freedom of his people.

3. Spend a few moments looking through some photos of your father. The reason will become clear as you work through this chapter.
