A. No, Celebrate Recovery will not be an issue. There will be two access areas to the kitchen so Celebrate Recovery will still have the access that they have had in the past.
Q. Where will Children’s Quizzing events be held?
A. In the sanctuary.

A. They can use the Children’s area or foyer. If that isn’t big enough they will have to use some other venue, which is what many do already.
Q. In the present plan there is one bathroom for the nursery. Can we have another bathroom?
A. Budget won’t allow for it. The plan is for one bathroom between the two baby nurseries as we have now but we will explore this possibility.

A. Currently the Girl Scouts use the annex and the Wrestling club has moved to West Creek Middle School.
Q. What are we doing with upstairs area?
A. Wall will be installed to make two separate classrooms for Sunday school classes for 5th and 6th grade.
Q. What about volunteer workers?
A. With the contractors it will be mostly a turn key job, however if we have people who want to volunteer for specific tasks, we can work with the contractors to accommodate that. We would have to give a two week notice so the contractor can take that into consideration and deduct that labor expense from the project.
Q. Will Pastors Rachelle & Dwayne’s offices be moved closer to the other offices?
A. Yes, they will be moving to the other side of the building.
Q. Will the kitchen be updated to a commercial kitchen?
A. No, we would have to have a fresh air vent for a commercial stove and that’s not possible right now. What we will do is upgrade the appliances and install convection ovens.
Q. Have we considered building up stairs over the gym?
A. That is not cost effective.
Q. What about building on the side of the building.
A. We looked at that and it is not cost effective as well.
Q. Were there consultants on this job?
A. No, staff and board came up with the layout. Prior conversations were held with the McKnight Group from Columbus, OH but the feasibility study they did related to increasing seating capacity for worship. They did have other insights and suggestions related to overall use of our space but the plan we are working with was developed by the staff and board.
Q. Can we retro fit gym for later build up?
A. No, that would involve tearing out the gym floor and installing concrete piers and steel columns. Not cost effective at all.
Q. Do we need a fund raising campaign?
A. We could accomplish this without a campaign but we will have a capital campaign so that we can pay off debt as quickly as possible.
Q. Will this be hard on us, with moving classrooms etc?
A. Yes. The project will create chaos but it will be organized chaos. Classes will have to be flexible as each phase of the remodel will involve some level of adjustment in class locations.
Q. Can we build gym in the future?
A. That will depend on our income but it is in the long range vision.
Q. What about Craft show?
A. Don’t know how it will be put together in the future but we will have adequate space to accommodate it.

Congratulations to the leadership of the church for the hard work they have put in on this project.
Once the vote is taken, if it is voted for everyone needs to get on board. Please no negative statements about the decisions. If it is voted down, again, no negative statements. We need to be unified in this decision.
