Thanksgiving Blog

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m thanking God today for: His grace, mercy and love; real life through His Son Jesus Christ; the empowerment of His Spirit to get life right today; the gift of His Word that is a lamp to my feet and light to my path; a fantastic wife and three kids who make me proud; my Christian heritage and parents who showed (and continue to show) me what a God-centered marriage and home looks like; freedom; the people God has put in my life who make it a lot more fun; my health; His plan for my life which brought us to the great city and wonderful people of Clarksville, TN; the staff I get to work with every day; simple joys like a day in the woods, the sound of a beagle running a rabbit, the feel of the wind in my face when I’m on a motorcycle, and the taste of a great cup of coffee; the chance to eat Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws; the privilege of knowing Him; the thrill of being able to preach His Word; the fulfillment that comes when I know I’m doing exactly what I was created to do.
