Reaching Out

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you  in Christ Jesus. I Thess. 5:16-18

Grace Received: There is reason to rejoice! This past weekend 14 kids from Grace attended the TN District Pre-teen retreat and one young lady accepted Jesus’invitation to life in Him!  God’s saving grace was made real to her as she experienced God’s gracious gift of forgiveness .We celebrate this new life in Christ!

Grace Shared: After a powerful message from God through Pastor Dwayne yesterday morning, we continued the conversation with a great 2:42 group last night. We swapped stories, shared burdens, rejoiced over victories, and encouraged each other to pursue a deeper life of prayer.  If you have not yet gotten involved in one of these grace-sharing groups, please accept this invitation to give it a try.

Grace Extended: Before we know it fall will turn into winter and many of the less fortunate in our community who are homeless will be facing the challenges of a destitute life.  In years past Grace has been involved in Room in the Inn, a cooperative effort among Clarksville churches to care for those in need.  We are exploring the possibility of being involved this year in this need meeting ministry which runs from Nov-March.  If you would be interested in serving others though this ministry or have questions about how you might be able to help, please contact Crisy Slate: cpslate@charter.net
