NEHS Project

One place in our community where we have been extending grace is the Northeast High School campus.   In 2008 we provided paint and labor, and repainted a large portion of the school.  In the fall of 2008 Pastor Dwayne began serving as Chaplain to the football team.  Last year we also provided chaperones for their after-prom event, and a meal for the football team.

In the summer of 2009 Grace took on the project of landscaping the front of the school. (Pics provided).  We supported their freshmen orientation, provided cards and muffins for the faculty and staff on the first day of school, and have committed to pray for specific students, as well as the faculty, staff and administration of NEHS which is the closest school to Grace Nazarene.   This year there will be more meals for the football team (Oct. 22, if you are interested in helping out contact pastordwayne@clarksvillegrace.org. We had a group from Grace take care of the concession stand at NEHS’ homecoming game so the parents could participate in all the homecoming festivities.  We plan to staff their career day this year as well.   If you are interested in tutoring, helping out with meals, speaking at career day or any other grace-extending activities at NEHS, please let us know!
