Merry Christmas

Verse for the week: “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Matt. 1:21

It’s all about grace:

Grace received – as we connect with God

Grace shared – as we connect with each other

Grace extended – as we connect with our community

WOW! This was my first experience with the Grace Drive Thru Nativity and it was amazing. Nearly 1800 people from Clarksville (and some from as far away as Knoxville) experienced the story of Jesus’ birth last weekend on the Grace Church campus.  Countless hours were spent praying, preparing, and then cleaning up afterwards and it was all well worth it.  While we were able to encourage hundreds of people who already have a church home, God brought 56 un-churched families our way who turned in information cards.  Each of these families were visited, given a card and some cookies this last Sunday night.  Please join me in praying that God will use the Drive thru Nativity as a catalyst in the lives of these people who need to get connected with God and with others in a church somewhere, be that Grace or somewhere else.

This past Sunday 3 people raised hands, indicating they were ready to move from an opinion about, to true belief in Jesus. Praise the Lord! Dozens more responded when invited to embrace obedience to God in whatever area the Holy Spirit was speaking to them.  Praise the Lord!  We continue to experience the faithfulness, mercy and grace of God every time we get together.  May we continue to share it, and extend it to our community.  Hope you to see you at our Christmas Eve Service.
